WSET LEVEL 2 EXAM DATES
WSET Level 2 exams are now available ONLINE!
The online exam will allow you to take your exam in a proctored environment from your home where you will be monitored via webcam, screen sharing technology and a secondary recording device during your exam.
CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ONLINE EXAM DATES: (all exam times are Pacific Time)
NOTE: You must be enrolled in a WSET Level 2 course in order to take the Level 2 exam. WSET Level 2 exams are ordered 30 days before the Level 2 exam date, as per the WSET rules, and a transfer fee must be paid to change the date once that order has been placed with the WSET. Exam results take 3-4 Months to be processed and released by the WSET. For any questions or concerns about this time frame for the release of your results, please contact WSET at: [email protected]
NVWA is unable to offer in-person WSET Level 2 examinations during the global pandemic. Any updates to protocols or in-person options will be added to this page.

Can I take the Exam Online?
If you have the right devices, YES! Checklist below.
Device #1 (to take Exam): Mac/PC, or Microsoft Surface Pro & Go (with Windows 8 or better) with web cam, audio, internet access and the latest version of Google Chrome. NOT supported: Google Chromebooks, Android tablets (Nexus 7, etc.), iOS tablets (iPad, iPad mini etc), and Surface RT.
Device #2 (to record Exam Room): A mobile Device, with ProctorExam app downloaded.
How do I register for the Online Exam?
See the Exam Registration module in the Introductory module of your Online Course for link and instructions on how to register. Only 50 slots are available per online exam.
Can I change the date of my Online Exam?
If your schedule changes and you need to change your exam date, please refer to the information below:
- BEFORE 30 days of your exam date: You may purchase an Exam Transfer Code for $50.
- WITHIN 30 days of your exam date: You may purchase an Exam Reorder Code for $200.
Purchase links and information are found in your Online Course Exam Registration module, as well as your Exam Confirmation emails.
Will I receive a confirmation email?
Yes! Upon exam registration, you will receive a confirmation email from [email protected] with further instructions and information, and subsequent reminders as your exam date approaches.
Will I get anything from the WSET?
Yes. You will receive 2 emails from WSET Global ([email protected]), one 9 days prior your exam date and one 3 days prior.
How do I set up my testing space?

Do I need to download anything ahead to take my exam?
YES! You need to download the “ProctorExam” application on your mobile device through your app store.

How do I check my computer is set up correctly, so I will be able to take the exam without a hitch?

What if I’m not receiving emails from NVWA, or from the WSET?
Check your spam, and follow the instructions here to “whitelist” emails from [email protected] and [email protected]
What happens if I have a problem during my exam?
Use online chat support, found on the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
When will I receive my exam results?
WSET London confirms that your exam results will be released in approximately 2-3 Months after your exam date. All exam results will be emailed to you the day we receive the Gradelist from WSET. Level 2 Pin and Certificate will arrive 4 weeks after you receive your passing grade.
You can still register for the next WSET class without your exam results if you’d like to continue on to the next level.

When will my certificate and pin arrive?
The WSET is delayed in producing certificates due to Covid. They will be released 12 weeks or more from the exam date.
