The status of the WSET Level 4 exam delivery can change due to the COVID-19 pandemic (and/or other factors) and it is strongly recommend that students purchase travel insurance if traveling is required to attend this exam.

NOTE: WSET Level 4 (Diploma) exams are ordered many weeks before the Level 4 exam date, as per the WSET rules, and a transfer fee must be paid to change the date once that order has been placed with the WSET. Frequently asked questions and online exam tips:
Can I take the Exam Online?
No. The Level 4 (Diploma) Exams are only available in person in Napa due to the blind tasting portion of Units D3, D4, and D5. Units D1 and D2 are not offered online at this time by the WSET.
Will I receive a confirmation email?
Yes! Upon exam registration, you will receive a confirmation email from [email protected] with further instructions and information, and subsequent reminders as your exam date approaches.
How is NVWA handling Covid-19 safety protocols while taking the exam?

When will I receive my exam results?
WSET London confirms that your exam results will be released in approximately 3-4 Months after your exam date. All exam results will be emailed to you the day we receive the Gradelist from WSET. Level 4 Pin and Certificate will arrive in 4 weeks after you receive your results from your final unit.

When will my certificate and pin arrive?
The WSET is delayed in producing certificates due to Covid. They will be released 12 weeks or more from the exam date.
