Where are the Tampa WSET courses held?
Napa Valley Wine Academy teaches in Tampa at the Epicurean Hotel, 1207 South Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, in Hyde Park. The one-day WSET Level 1 Award in Wines and the two-day WSET Level 2 Award in Wines run there several times a year, along with the two-day Champagne Specialist Course. Wines are poured for you in class, and every course includes the WSET study materials, exam registration and the exam fee.
WSET Level 3 is not taught in a Tampa classroom: Tampa students take the instructor-led online course and sit the in-person Level 3 exam at our Tampa sitting, or come to Napa for the five-day classroom course. Levels 1 and 2 are examined online after the class, so there is no second trip.

Exams: Levels 1 and 2 are sat online with remote invigilation after your class.

Online + Tampa examThe WSET Level 3 Award in Wines runs as a ten-week instructor-led online course with 24 wines tasted, and its in-person exam is held in Tampa, one of our eight US exam venues. Prefer a classroom? The five-day Level 3 course and the Napa bootcamps run at our Napa campus.
Then: the WSET Level 4 Diploma, taught online with examinations in Napa.

Instructor-led cohorts run on fixed dates with live, recorded webinars; on-demand courses start the moment you enroll. Which WSET courses run in Tampa?

Can I take WSET Level 3 in Tampa?

Where do I sit the Level 1 and Level 2 exams?
Online, from home, with remote invigilation, on a date you choose after the class. For courses from 1 August 2026 this applies to every Level 1 and Level 2 course.
Do you teach the spirits, beer or sake awards in Tampa?
Not in the classroom at present. The WSET Awards in Spirits, Beer and Sake are taught online; see the full WSET course list.
Is the Tampa course the same qualification as the Napa one?
Yes. A WSET award is a single global qualification, and your certificate does not record where you studied. Napa Valley Wine Academy is a WSET Approved Programme Provider and the same faculty teach every location.
