Please Note:  We highly recommend confirming your in-person course/exam date before making travel arrangements, as spots are limited.  The status of the WSET Level 3 exam delivery can change due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it is strongly recommend that students purchase travel insurance if traveling is required to attend this exam.

NOTE:  WSET Level 3 exams are ordered 30 days before the Level 3 exam date, as per the WSET rules, and a transfer fee must be paid to change the date once that order has been placed with the WSET.  Exam results take 3-4 Months to be processed and released by the WSET.  For any questions or concerns about this time frame for the release of your results, please contact WSET at:

Can I take the Exam Online?

No. The Level 3 Exam is only available in person due to the blind tasting portions of the exam.

How do I register for the Exam?

See the Exam Registration module in the Introductory module of your Online Course for link and instructions on how to register. Only 50 slots are available per online exam, 20-30 per in-person exam.

Can I change the date of my Exam?

There is a $50 exam transfer fee to transfer your exam date, if changed BEFORE 30 days of the exam date. You cannot submit the registration form more than once. Within the 30 day window, exams must be reordered with the WSET and a larger fee of $220 is incurred. Purchase links and information are found in your Online Course Exam Registration module, as well as your Exam Confirmation emails.

Will I receive a confirmation email?

Yes! Upon exam registration, you will receive a confirmation email from exams@napavalleywineacademy.com with further instructions and information, and subsequent reminders as your exam date approaches.

When will I receive my exam results?

WSET London confirms that your exam results will be released in approximately 2-3 Months after your exam date. All exam results will be emailed to you the day we receive the Gradelist from WSET. Level 3 Pin and Certificate will arrive in 4 weeks after you receive your results.

When will my certificate and pin arrive?

The WSET ships pins and certificates within 5-10 weeks from the exam results notifications.
