Querciabella Winery – A Pioneer of Organic and Biodynamic Winemaking in Tuscany.
Guest presenter: Giorgio Fragiacomo, Export Director
Founded in 1974 in the heart of Tuscany, Querciabella is a benchmark for high-quality, sustainable winemaking. Located in Greve in Chianti, with additional vineyards in Maremma, the winery has built an international reputation for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines while maintaining a deep commitment to environmental stewardship.
Querciabella has been organically farmed since 1988 and fully biodynamic since 2000, making it one of the pioneers of sustainable viticulture in Italy. Their vegan-friendly approach extends from vineyard to cellar, avoiding animal-based fining agents and promoting biodiversity.
The estate produces a range of acclaimed wines, from Chianti Classico to the renowned Camartina (Super Tuscan blend), as well as Batàr, an exceptional white wine inspired by Burgundy. Each bottle reflects the purity of Tuscan terroir, crafted with precision and respect for nature.
Querciabella continues to set the standard for innovative, ethical winemaking, making it a must-know name for lovers of fine Italian wine.
We’re thrilled to welcome Export Director Giorgio Fragiacomo as he takes us on a journey through the heart of Tuscany and the story of Querciabella. Get ready to experience an exceptional lineup of wines from this iconic estate—each one a true expression of elegance, passion, and place!
