Join us for an unforgettable seven days / six night visit to the prestigious Champagne region. We will start our trip in Reims the heart of Champagne, and home to 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites, one of which is the Cathedral of Reims. We will tour the Cathedral, a masterpiece of gothic art and venue for the crowning of French Kings for over 1,000 years. We will travel through the quaint villages, visit famous Champagne houses as well as hidden treasures, and gaze on Grand Cru vineyards. It won’t be ALL bubbles; we will discover the beauty of the still wines of the region as well. A stop at Maison Fossier, famous with the royal courts for over 250 years and their“biscuit rose”, can’t be missed. Enjoy luxurious accommodations for 6 nights; an abundance of bubbles and wines, and crave-inducing culinary experiences, including two Gourmet dinners.

Our trip will be led by Sandrine Audegond, DipWSET. As a buyer at Fauchon, her 800 bottle list won several awards including a French oenologist prize. She has specialized in trading great wines from Burgundy, Champagne, Bordeaux and worked in Chablis as a brand ambassador. Since 2016, Sandrine has been teaching oenology to future professionals. She is an accomplished author of wine and gastronomy. Her book Le Gout de Paris received the French prestiges award Prix Rungis des Gourmets.
